岗位要求

GENERAL SUMMARY & OVERALL CHALLENGES    

Selling services and products of SwissOptic Wuhan to Chinese Customers as defined in the selling strategy. Identify, attract and retain Manufacturers of Ophthalmic and Life Science Equipment as customers of SwissOptic Wuhan. 

Responsibility

1. Identify potential customers and the respective contacts within those companies and develop relationships in particular on technical level.

2. Uncover business opportunities for SwissOptic Wuhan within the defined target customer segments.

3. Leading technical and commercial discussions with potential customers. With particular focus on the following aspects:

- Understanding the requirements of the customer.

- Translating this into workable specifications.

- Selecting the “right” projects by applying strategic filtering in order to ensure, that our efforts are leading to success.  

-“selling” the service of SwissOptic, educating the customer of the benefits of SOWH / SOAG.

-  Creating offers and closing deals in line with business best practice and compliance rules.

4. Cooperate with all relevant departments in both SOWH and SOAG.

5. Coordinating technical support for customers together with lead engineer.

6. Contribute to the evolution of the sales strategy.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION 

a) Professional Experience

·     At least 3 years of experience in direct B2B sales or solution selling ideally in the field of Optics/Photonics

·     Profound technical knowledge in optics

·     Experience in the Medical Device Industry and in selling to integrators/OEM's as a plus

·     Sound market knowledge in the relevant Medical Device Industry in China.

·     Actively provide input on market trends, customer changing needs, new applications and possible new developments to management team

b)  Education

·     Technical background / University degree in Optics / Photonics / Engineering.

·     Medical / Life Science related topic as a plus. 

c)  Language

·     Chinese

·     English is a must (business fluently) 

d) Travel (required estimated % of time)

·     ~30-40% (<10% internationally)

·     Ability to build trust and confidence with customers

·     Sales mentality, able to work independently but within clearly set boundaries

·     Excellent teamwork skills, cross functional and internationally

·     Eager to learn and develop, not afraid to say “I don’t know but I’ll find out”
